Zetlin & De Chiara Partner Loryn Riggiola Presents on Design Build in New York

Zetlin & De Chiara LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Loryn Riggiola will be presenting at a Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) program hosted at Arup on October 29 at 6 pm-7:30 pm.

The program, titled “What Does Design Build Mean in New York State?” will give attendees a synopsis of the basic structure of design build. The discussion will also include what the current legislation has allowed in regard to design build and how it can be applied in New York State, who is currently using it, and what the future may hold. Loryn’s co-presenter is Andrew M. Claus, the Executive Director at DBIA Liberty Northeast Region. Attendees can receive 1.0 Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit.

Loryn Riggiola has represented clients in both public and private sector projects, contract disputes, bidding disputes, defect and delay claims, and commercial disputes. She has serviced clients in the United States and abroad on a variety of matters, including the construction and operation of energy projects. Loryn also represents corporations and financial institutions in litigation involving complex commercial issues, including employment disputes, restrictive covenant and unfair competition litigation. She has handled litigation involving trademark, trade dress and palming off claims under the Lanham Act, together with insurance coverage issues. Loryn has participated in numerous bench and jury trials in both New York and New Jersey and has a diverse and active caseload. She is a past President of the Design Build Institute of America, NY-Tri-State Metro Area.
