Zetlin & De Chiara Partner Lina Telese Moderating Panel on the Impact of Infrastructure on Newly Connected Neighborhoods

Zetlin & De Chiara is pleased to announce that Lina Telese will serve as moderator on a panel at the Regional Conference of Mortgage Bankers Association in Atlantic City, NJ on March 12.

The conference, taking place on March 10-14, is one of the only conferences that provide both a commercial and a residential segment. It includes general sessions and breakouts that hone in on key issues. Lina’s panel “Build It and They Will Come: The Impact of Infrastructure on Newly Connected Neighborhoods” will focus on the tremendous influence major infrastructure improvements and private sector developments have on neighborhoods. Experts from various real estate disciplines such as development, environment, retail, commercial and residential development, architecture and urban planning will discuss how improvements affect property values, enhance the environment, attract new residents and commercial businesses and increase tourism.

Lina Telese, a Partner with Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, is an experienced attorney with a targeted focus on construction contract drafting and negotiations for sophisticated building projects as well as corporate matters. She has extensive experience with transactional issues related to a variety of national and international projects, including infrastructure, hotel, residential, mixed-use, gaming, education and financial projects. Ms. Telese negotiates and settles cases involving professional licensing issues, contracts and dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration. She frequently appears before state and federal courts with regard to construction and professional liability claims. Ms. Telese represents all construction parties, including owners and developers, design professionals, contractors and consultants in all aspects of the construction process, including commercial litigation and insurance related matters.

Matthew received his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Prior to law school, he worked as a landscape architect in training focusing on land planning, streetscape design, and construction. He participated in the World Trade Center streetscape reconstruction project and the Fulton Mall Streetscape redevelopment project.
