International Condominium Project Arbitration

We represented an international Owner/Developer of three condominium projects in a dispute with the Construction Manager in arbitration proceedings that continued in connection with delay and cost overrun claims totaling over $10 million on the multiple residential development projects. This matter involved the defense of claims asserted by two contractors, as well as the prosecution of claims on the behalf of the Owner for the wrongful termination of construction contracts by the contractors. The matter was submitted to arbitration and after over 20 days of hearings, we prevailed on behalf of our client, earning a judgment in their favor and a dismissal of the claims against them. The total value of claims, counterclaims, and cross claims exceeded $50 million.
