Mission-Critical Data Center Dispute
We represented a company in a dispute that arose from the construction and expansion of its mission-critical data center located in New Jersey. The data center is a critical component of the client’s national operations and is the central hub for financial data transactions. Our client incurred significant costs in remediating, redesigning, and renovating its data center which is comprised of joining an existing 90,000 square feet, two-story office building, with an addition of a 40,000 square foot building that included the installation of an underground water storage tank, back-up generators, and above grade electrical substations. The structure required prompt remediation by our client as separation occurred between the two buildings jeopardizing their stability. On behalf of our client, we secured a favorable settlement from the design professionals and others.
