Downtown New York Performing Arts Center Construction Contracts

We represented the Construction Manager of this high-design and technically sophisticated $363 million Performing Arts Center project. We negotiated the construction contracts and prepared corresponding subcontract documentation for this Performing Arts Center. This 200,000 square-foot Downtown Manhattan cultural and social center involved complex construction of a first of its kind flexible performance area. Theater halls are combinable to create a versatile viewing experience symbolic of the Center's mission to blur lines between disciplines, boundaries, and communities. The Center features public access spaces, a restaurant, and levels of exhibition and play space along with backstage performance support spaces like rehearsal areas, dressing rooms, a green room, a musician room, a quiet room, etc.
