Government Facility Reconstruction Litigation

We represented an engineer against claims concerning mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sprinkler engineering services in connection with the construction of a government facility located in the Bronx. Claims were brought by the entity for errors and omissions, construction defects, lack of design and contractor coordination, breach of contract, unforeseen site conditions, scope changes resulting in delays, extra work and inefficiencies. The claims being sought were in excess of $100 million. Notwithstanding the quantum or claims, we were able to successfully resolved the matter to the satisfaction of our client.
