Brooklyn Townhouse
We represented an architect/interior designer of a townhouse in Brooklyn in arbitration against error and/or omissions claims. The townhouse owners made changes to the project throughout construction whereby the client incurred significant additional services that were unpaid for by the owners. The owners claims related to change orders allegedly necessitated by design changes, over-payment of interior design fees and installation fees for unsuitable furniture and remedial work performed by the owners' contractors to correct design errors. Prior to the arbitration, the parties were able to successfully resolved the dispute through mediation.
