As the Curve flattens, thoughts are focused on returning to the office. Recognizing that many facets of everyday office life have been upended and significant changes will be required to open for business, preparations have begun for a post-pandemic office. What operational and physical attributes of the office need to change immediately in order to promote the health and well-being of those who work there and what actions can be taken as the reopening is finally in sight?
Re-opening is the first step in rethinking the design and function of the office. The impact of the virus will impact the plans for the offices of the future. What will the new offices look like and what considerations will dictate their space concepts? How will our new knowledge be integrated into workplaces that promote collaboration, creativity and communication?
