Anazette Ray Selected for the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation’s Spring 2021 Emerging Leaders Program
(New York, NY – April 20, 2021) Zetlin & De Chiara LLP announced today that Anazette Ray, an Associate in its New Jersey office has been selected to participate in the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation’s Spring 2021 Emerging Leaders Program. The program, entitled Perseverance, Power, Politics brings together peers from architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, law and financial services with senior women in the field to explore ways of advancing their careers. Participants share common goals and trade personal strategies for success.
Anazette Ray, a litigation attorney at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, practices law in both New Jersey and New York where she represents architects and engineers in a wide variety of disputes. She has been featured in both the New York Real Estate Journal’s and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch lists. Ms. Ray serves as an Executive Board Member for Gallery of Dance Dazzlers Dance Troupe, a travel dance group for children ages five-eighteen.
Founded in 2002, the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation (BWAF), a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, advances the knowledge and recognition of women’s contributions to architecture. Initially organized as a grant giving non-profit, the BWAF supported research that would expand knowledge about women’s contributions to twentieth-century American architecture by uncovering their lost histories and restoring them to the historical record. It now also embraces issues specific to women currently working within the building industry. To this end, BWAF both commissions and curates research that pertains to women working at all levels within all fields of practice —including architecture, engineering, construction, design, landscape, preservation, and planning.
