New York, NY (June 9, 2021) - Zetlin & De Chiara announced today that Chengdong (C.D.) Xing, an attorney at the firm, was honored by the prestigious China Legal Education & Career Seminar Series (CLECSS) with a 2021 Outstanding Young Lawyers Award.  

CLECSS is one of China’s largest and most prestigious lawyers’ organizations. Founded in 2007, CLECSS provides professional development seminars and networking events for lawyers, in-house counsel, law students and other business professionals. Launched in 2016, the CLECSS awards program honors attorneys who distinguish themselves by demonstrating superior professional achievement and character.

Mr. Xing is one of a handful of China-U.S. dual qualified lawyers practicing construction law. He focuses his practice focuses on complex construction disputes. He has extensive experience in handling domestic and international arbitration and litigation regarding large-scale infrastructure and landmark projects. 

Mr. Xing is active in professional organizations in New York and in China. He was selected to serve as co-chair of the Asian Affairs Committee of New York City Bar Association and is a member of the Seventh Working Group of The Permanent Forum of China Construction Law. Mr. Xing was also selected by the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section on International Law to serve as Vice Chair of its Central/East Asia & China Committee.

He has received recognition from Super Lawyers and Crain’s New York where he was selected for their Rising Star lists.
