Anazette Ray Recognized in Ones to Watch Spotlight by the New York Real Estate Journal
Anazette Ray was recently featured in the NY Real Estate Journal (NYREJ)'s Ones to Watch Spotlight. She was interviewed by the journal and recognized for her wealth of experience representing architects and engineers in a wide variety of litigation matters.
NYREJ: What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?
Anazette Ray: The most recent project I am most proud of is the article I authored which provided guidance to design and construction firms which have been doing business with Russia and/or Russian entities and how to proceed. Given the globalization of the economy, it is important for firms to consider their presence on the world stage with regard to how they want to be seen and the impact that they want to make.
NYREJ: Who was/is your mentor and how did s/he influence/help you in your career?
Anazette Ray: As an immigrant from Central America, my education was molded by many teachers who pushed me beyond what was known to my family and beyond what would have been expected. From picking out the right courses to introducing me to certain colleges. As an adult, my career was assisted by my clerkship, wherein my judge taught me about fairness in the application of the law, and the many attorneys I have met along the way who have guided me in the practice of law.
