Hannah Carmel Joins Zetlin & De Chiara LLP
Hannah Carmel has joined Zetlin & De Chiara LLP as an associate in its New York office. Ms. Carmel represents building owners, design professionals and construction managers in construction-related litigation. She also has significant experience handling sophisticated construction related transactional work.
Prior to joining Zetlin & De Chiara, Ms. Carmel was a senior litigation associate in the Construction & Design practice of a prominent New York-based firm where she counseled construction and design clients on the construction of new buildings, interiors, and renovations and handled complex construction disputes arising from issues regarding performance, project delays, payment, and safety. Early in her career, as a New York Bar Foundation Legal Fellow, Ms. Carmel interned for the Honorable Rita Mella in New York County Surrogate’s Court. In law school, she served as the Editor in Chief for the International Law Review, was a Morris C. Fisher Scholarship recipient and was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award.
Ms. Carmel holds a dual degree from Emory University in Visual Arts and Art History, and a law degree from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro University.
