Overview
Maria Kefalas represents real estate owners and developers, design professionals and other members of the construction community in complex litigation. She has represented a wide array of clients in complex civil disputes, including commercial contract and business disputes, and construction defect litigation.
Ms. Kefalas received her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from New York University. During law school, Ms. Kefalas worked as a legal intern at the New York State Office of the Attorney General.
Ms. Kefalas was featured on New York Real Estate Journal's 2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars list. She was also selected by the Women Builders Council (WBC) as one of WBC's 2023 Next Gen Women Leaders. In 2023, Ms. Kefalas was also selected to participate in the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation’s 2023 Emerging Leaders Program.
